- Best group card sites
Group card sites.
Side by side.
Every site here lets a group sign one card from a link, with no account for the people signing. They differ on price, on video, and on what the person is left with.
The table is from each site's own pricing and help pages, read on 27 September 2026. We make tbf, so read our row with that in mind.

The question
Each writer gets a question.
One at a time, about Sam. They answer in their own words, or write without one.
- Something Sam did this year that you still think about.
- Words of Sam's that you have caught yourself using.
- A day Sam made better just by turning up.
- Something Sam taught you without meaning to.
- A small thing about Sam that nobody else would notice.
- The story about Sam you tell most.
- The moment you knew you had a proper friend in Sam.
- Something Sam did that only a friend would.
- A thing you still laugh about together.
- The time Sam turned up when it mattered.
- Something Sam knew about you before you said it.
- Something Sam did for the family that went unsaid.
- A habit of Sam's that you have caught yourself copying.
- A memory of Sam from when you were younger.
- Something Sam put up with from you.
- Something Sam taught you, mostly by example.
- A small thing Sam did that you noticed and never mentioned.
- The moment you knew.
- Something Sam did this year that made things easier for you.
- A thing about Sam you would not change.
- Something Sam carried that was yours to carry.
- The thing you go to Sam for.
- Something you picked up from working beside Sam.
- A bad day at work that Sam turned round.
- Something a new starter should be told about Sam.
- Something Sam did that made the job feel worth doing.
Or write without one.

Which one suits what
Each does one thing best.
tbf
When you want to hear them. Everybody can record a clip, and we cut them into one film the person watches on the day.
Thankbox
A good pick for a UK leaving card with a collection. The Classic card is the same price as ours.
Groupcards
Cheap, and it can post a printed copy in the UK for £4.99 plus postage.
GatheredCards
The lowest price for one card on this list.
GroupGreeting
The widest choice of card fronts, if the design matters most.
Kudoboard
A big board for a big group, with prints on every board and a slideshow on its top one.
What the table does not show
Gift cards cost more than the price on the front, because Thankbox and GatheredCards both charge the people chipping in a percentage plus a few pence each time.
Video is where the sites split. Most take a photo or a GIF. Few take a clip.
On tbf the video is part of every card. We cut the clips into one film, with the funniest clip first and everybody at once near the start.
The person can film themselves watching it in the iPhone app. Theirs to keep.
How a group card works on tbf
The same three steps for a birthday, a leaving do or a new baby.
- 01
Pick a card and a day.
Choose the front and when it opens. It opens at nine in their time zone unless you pick a time.
- 02
Send one link round.
Each person adds a message, records a clip, or both. Nobody needs an account.
- 03
They open it on the day.
Every note, then the film of everybody who wrote in.

tbf on every card, Thankbox on Premium and Kudoboard from its $9.99 board. The others list photos and GIFs only.
