What to leave out

Don't list everything she sacrificed. She knows, and a card is not an invoice. One honest thank you lands harder than a paragraph of debt.

Skip what you think a daughter should say. Write what you would say to her face.

Don't compare her to other mothers or call her the best in the world, and say instead the specific thing she did that you carry with you.

Don't trail off into vague wishes. End on something real, like a plan to call, a promise to visit, or a meal you will cook her for once.

One card from the whole family

Sisters, siblings, grandchildren, cousins. One link, and it opens on her birthday.

  1. 01

    Add her birthday.

The card opens that morning and not before.

  2. 02

    Send the link to everyone.

Each person signs once, in a browser, no account needed.

  3. 03

She reads it on the day.

Every message signed with a name. She keeps it.
